The challenge
What the venue needed
Ambassadors Club House is the New York home of one of London's most decorated restaurant groups, and JKS Restaurants' first opening in the United States. The group's technology standards had to travel to a market where the supply chain, cabling contractors and internet providers were all new, across time zones, into a dense Manhattan building, and into a single main communications cabinet without compromising segregation or serviceability.
Our approach
What MicroNet delivered
- 01
Designed the core network around identified hardware specifications, with segregation by VLAN built to MicroNet Global's standard IP and VLAN template, so the site reads the same way as any other venue in the group's estate.

Specified a Ubiquiti core of a fibre security gateway and Layer 3 managed PoE switching, configured, firmware-updated and stack-configured in the UK before shipping.
- 03
Specified a primary fibre service with a diverse secondary circuit, with the firewall managing automatic failover so an outage on the primary line stays invisible to the floor.

Completed a predictive wireless heat map from floor plans, revised as the fit-out developed, then verified coverage with a physical survey after installation.

Set up and labelled the rack cabinet, published a patching schedule, and patched every device including third-party providers to standardised cable colours and lengths.

Reviewed network structure and patching with every third-party installation team, coordinated with the New York ISP and consulting engineers, and provided onsite standby support through the opening.
