The challenge
What the venue needed
Caprice Holdings needed the technical complexity taken out of a two-floor opening: CCTV, Wi-Fi, EPOS, PDQ and VoIP all arriving from different suppliers, and no single party accountable for making them behave as one estate. The network had to carry critical business systems and the guest experience without a single point of failure.

Developed an IT blueprint shaped around the floorplan and guest capacity.

Confirmed requirements across central data centre integration, messaging, POS and payments, firewall, Wi-Fi, VoIP, CCTV, access control, time and attendance, and cloud backup and recovery.

Designed a redundant, high-availability core network with three-layer segmentation across core, distribution and access.

Proposed a unified LAN carrying telephony, CCTV, guest and staff Wi-Fi and admin systems together.

Defined the scope of work for every third-party provider, then reviewed their designs, schedules and dependencies.

Oversaw the phased rollout from design to go-live, chairing provider meetings and tracking technical risk.
