The challenge
What the venue needed
Racketeer Club is a premium padel and social venue in Park Royal, north-west London. Competitive socialising venues place unusual demands on a network: padel court cages, glass and steel create reflection and interference that standard ceiling-mounted access points do not handle, the social and back-of-house zones sit in a large warehouse-style volume, and memberships, bookings and payments run continuously in a building with no existing IT infrastructure.
Our approach
What MicroNet delivered
- 01
Completed a predictive wireless heat map across the full site, issued through successive revisions as the fit-out progressed, and validated coverage again on site after installation.
- 02
Specified directional antennas mounted on the padel court walls rather than relying on omnidirectional ceiling coverage in the court volumes, with tri-band access points across the social, dining and operational areas.
- 03
Supplied and configured core and edge Layer 3 managed 10GbE PoE switching, with VLANs, QoS, SNMP, uplinks and stacking for resilience.

Deployed a primary and secondary next-generation firewall pair configured for high availability, with PCI-aligned segmentation, VPN, intrusion prevention and content filtering.

Supplied and installed rack-mount UPS protection with comms room temperature and humidity monitoring, so environmental risk is visible rather than discovered.
- 06
Coordinated POS, CCTV, access control and time and attendance integration, ran end-to-end testing and commissioning, and delivered a documentation pack reviewed jointly with the client before handover.
