The challenge
What the venue needed
Amaffi Perfume House brought its ultra-luxury fragrance concept to Sloane Street, across a ground floor and basement. Luxury retail places an unusual constraint on technology: it must support high-value client experiences, secure payments and specialist security systems while remaining invisible in a space designed around materials, light and scent, with a specialist provider list to coordinate and a fixed commitment period aligned to the opening programme.
Our approach
What MicroNet delivered

Developed the IT infrastructure framework across both floors, designed to remove unnecessary complexity and avoid any single point of failure, covering cloud services, network and firewall security, EPOS, payment gateways, mobile device management, telephony, CCTV, door access and comms room design.
- 02
Produced predictive wireless heat mapping across ground floor and basement through multiple revisions, positioning access points against reflected ceiling plans so hardware placement worked with the interior design rather than against it.

Coordinated end-to-end cabling, termination and labelling, and required Fluke certification across the installed cabling before commissioning, so the physical layer was proven before any active equipment depended on it.

Worked alongside the appointed audio-visual designers through their scope and drawing revisions, aligning AV requirements with network capacity and cabling.

Coordinated with the appointed high-security installer on systems layouts and integrated them at the network layer, and defined and agreed each provider’s scope of work.

Applied network and user-level security policies with PCI and GDPR-aligned design across payment, client data and CCTV, then handed over to operations and transitioned the site into MicroNet Global’s monitored managed support.
